Always mindful of the lasting impact of adult attitudes, language and behavior on children, Little Sun people is committed to continually developing a positive and empowering experience among our staff members, parents and children. Much of the teaching staff has been with Little Sun People for well over 10 + years!

Our staff at Little Sun People are well-trained early childhood educators, approved by the Health Department and strives to provide an early childhood educational environment that offers:

Ayoka (“Mama Ayoka”) Wise, Zulu Fouriors (4 year-olds) – I was born in Brooklyn, New York. My family is from Georgia, Florida and New York. I’ve been teaching, assisting and volunteering at Little Sun People, for over 10 years.

How long have you been a teacher at little sun people? Four years

One thing you love about teaching at little sun people? I love that I have the opportunity of teaching our children about our culture in a loving and supportive environment.
